Yesterday was Good Friday (Sgp public holiday) and my company has 1 day shutdown on coming Mon. So good to have 4 days rest at home, accompany my little KaiRou

Recently I become more active in Facebook, as I realized that Facebook is really a good medium to maintain the friend’s connection. I have added a lot of friends (old CheTom friends, my collegues, etc) to my Friend List. With this, I will always be keep updated on the latest news of my friends. Sooo…. good

We plan to bring KaiRou out today during the evening time, to the Sgp new reserviour near the city area. Hope no raining today. Yesterday evening was raining cats and dogs.

She is not so scared of new faces/things now, she do smiles when stranger talk & play with her. We are going to bring her back to SP on coming Thurs till Sun. Hope she won’t cry too hard when meet her grandpa, grandma, ah yi, kuku, etc….. (^-^)

Henderson Wave is an overhead bridge, for people to walk and enjoy the scenery. It was the first time we went there, even it had been built for quite some time

It just took about 10 mins walk from carpark to reach the bridge. It was nice and relaxing.  

Milk milk time… KaiRou was waiting for papa to prepare the milk milk..

My little girl starts to lose hair, as it is the time to grow the new hair. The hair that she have currently will be fully exchanged with new hair within 6 months. When she was born, her hair is a bit curly and brownish. Not sure if it will be the same when the new hair grows. (@o@)

I start losing hair too …. probably caused by hormone change. A friend of mine had hair losing too together with her little girl during her 4th month. So, I am not too worried about this (:o)

My little girl is 4 months + 4 days of life. She is about 5.8kg now…there are so much changes on her.

She has established her bed time routine. She usually sleeps at 11pm++ and wakes up at around 7am++ without night feed. After fed, she usually sleeps till 10am++ or 11am++. She sleeps very little in the afternoon, usually just about 30mins to 1hr++.

She starts to show her temper, especially when she is tired and wants to sleep. Sometimes, just mommy can comfort her… (*o*). She starts to laugh loudly when we play with her, and she likes to scream when she is excited. She is fun …. hehehe….

Yesterday, we realized that she starts to recognize people. We brought her to my friend’s full moon party two weeks ago and she kept crying when reached my friend’s house. Same thing happened when we brought her to another friend’s house yesterday :( ……. She feels worried when she stays with people, houses, new things that she is not familiar. Hmm…. we have to bring her out more..

We have removed her mitten, so that she can use her fingers to grab things like toys, handkerchief, etc. We read from books that fingers and brain development are together. Her finger nails grow so fast… and i have to cut her nail every weekend so that she won’t hurt herself when she scratches her fact, ear..etc..

I still continue breastfeeding, with about 3 feed daily and the rest with formula. I hope I can last for 6 months

Mommy and Papa said my hair soooooo long and it’s time to go for a hair cut. So, mommy brought me to a small small salon. I heard the aunty said “o.. I don’t know how to cut her hair”… … Err… she looked here and there….then she start cutting….

Many people said I look like ‘boy-boy’ after the hair cut…. “Aiya… I am girl girl lah….!!!”

Sgp is badly hit by the economic downturn, retrenchment and pay cut is everywhere…….

Yes, there have been few rounds of RIF (Reduction in Workforce) exercise in my company and luckily my department was not affected. Rumours said more RIF is upcoming and I believe it is true, March 11 is the date quoted. My company had started the “salary deduction” exercise since Feb. Sigh, I had the 10% salary cut, but good things is we have 2 days leaves in return. So, compared to others companies that had the salary cut without leaves given, I considered myself lucky.

There is nothing much that we can do for this, except be prepared for the worst and cut down our spending.

With our current way of $$ spending, single income source is definitely not enough. This is bad as if any of us get axed, our life will be badly affected. So, Hup and I agreed to use only single income from March onwards, and we have to lower down our standard of life. However, to do this in March will be very tough, as we have to pay car roadtax, car insurance, life insurance, and we have to buy a number of things like vacumm (old 1 already broken), Hup’s shoes (already leak), etc… Hmm, if really can’t, then we will swich our plan to next month. Haha…. hope we will not keep postponing our “Cost saving” plan.

FYI…. there is a blog that talking about Singapore retrenchment. You can access it by searching “Singapore Retrenchment Blog”. Haha…. I came to know about it as there are many comments regarding my company’s retrenchment. It is funny to see that so many people posted their frustration and views in it, with their bosses’s name in the blog. Now we can tell which are the ‘lousy’ bosses. I believe good bosses won’t be condemned so badly even with their people affected by RIF exercise.

To be exact, she is 3 months + 3 days old now  (^-^) …. She has gained another 0.4kg and she is about 5.2kg. Haha.. we observed that her neck is much longer now and can support her head. She is more talkertive, likes to ‘woo’, ‘arrr’ a lot to us. She likes the musical toy very much and keep talking to the duck, crocodile, rhino and frog that flying above her. She enjoys the car ride and a lot of times, she just fall asleep in the baby car seat. She is sooooooo cute and funny

My little girl starts to suck her fingers. As she is wearing mitten most of the time, she just like to suck the mitten and wet it with her saliva. I always laugh when she sucks her fingers when I took off her mitten during bath. She don’t know how to suck and she will just lick her fingers from one to another, so funny
I believe sooner or later, she will find out that thumb is the best finger to suck and she will stick to it, like most of the babies do. (*o*)
