We had bought about 21 sets of baby clothes for our little princess, with mix of different sizes. My friends do pass me some old clothes from their babies….hope it is enough for her to wear till 1 year old

Usually we have the Yearly Spring Cleaning before Chinese New Year. We pulled in the plan this year, as we believe the baby’s arrival will keep us busy and have no time for spring cleaning

For this year, we have hired a helper (from Myammar) to help us. Else, it will be too tiring for a mama with big tummy to do so much work She worked for ~ 4hrs and we gave her S$50. I also helped out with some light tasks and Hup did help out a lot too…..

Well, it was just the first session and I believe we still need another 2 sessions before we can clean up the whole house. We have completed the cleaning on living room and master room, still left study room, store and kitchen

It is just another 4 weeks to go…. Hurray !!!!!!!!!!!!……..

Week 37 onwards considered as full term (not considered as premature), and the baby can have a normal delivery. My EDD (Expected Date of Delivery) is on Dec 04 and usually the baby will be delivered on ~1 to 2 weeks earlier, means should be by end of Nov.

I will start my maternity leave on Nov 24 (on my week 38++), so that I can have a good rest at home and awaiting for bb’s arrival

I went for regular check up on this wednesday. As usual, my baby put her hand on top of her face, but we can still see half of her face. It is just a 2D scan, so can’t really see clearly how she looks like. No worries, we will seeing her very soon She is ~2kg++ now, and will gain for ~1kg in another 4 weeks. From the ultrasound scan, she still have enough room and amniotic water for her growth. She is doing perfectly fine

How about mama? Hahaha… mama is doing fine too. Just start to have some constipation, heart burn and more calf cramp at night. So, I just eat more fruits (especially banana), sit very straight or fully lie down when having heart burn and have more brisk walk to improve the blood circulation of the lower part of my body. I have gained ~1kg in past 2 weeks, and now I have gained a total of 11kg++ at 62kg now

I am having more Braxton Hicks now. It is a contraction practices for a smooth contraction during actual delivery. During Braxton Hicks, you can feel that your whole tummy hard like rocks and you will feel umfortable when move around (during walking, turning, stand up from sitting posture, etc).

My baby continues her reflection practices (pushing, kicking, turning around) in my tummy. For now, she is super active for 2 days (wake up to play for every ~3hrs and can play for long time) and for subsequent 2 days she just sleep like little pig. Haha…this cycle just keep repeating

I have packed things that I need to bring to hospital during delivery, which includes married certification, admission letter from my gynae, mama’s clothes, toiletries, camera and etc. So, everything considered “Ready !!” now….

Now I am on Week 32 + 2 days. Another 6 weeks to go !!!!!

Yes, I am counting down now, day by day, week by week….. hehehehe……

My little princess kicks me more often and more violent now. Sometimes she do make me feel uncomfortable with her hands and legs keep pushing around my tummy, especially when she turns or moves her whole body. Hahaha…. this bad temper mama sometimes just scold the baby “bb… stop kicking”….

I started to feel a bit tired, with my big tummy which is around 38 inches now and I have gained 10kg++. But in overall, I still feel lucky that I don’t have the symptoms like legs swollen, constipation and heart burnt which usually happened during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy

Huh….. now is 4.44am This is the 2nd time in this week that I couldn’t get back to sleep after woke up. How about my naughty baby? Haha…. guess she is having a nice sleep in her comfortable water bed..:P

I just done my regular check up on this Wednesday. Well, everything is doing fine. My little princess had made another progress, she is fully heads down now and in good position. That’s why I can feel her powerful kicks and push on any parts of my tummy, left, right, middle up, middle down Not sure if this is true, both Hup and I feel that our baby start to have interaction with us. For most of the time when Hup apply stretch mark cream on my tummy, we can feel the baby’s reaction on the position where Hup massage. Probaby she feels that something is touching her and she just response to it. Or, she tries to hint us that “papa and mama, stop tickling me !!”…. hehehe…..

Again, we failed to have 3D scan on her face. Before we went for the scan, we keep telling her that “baby, don’t hide your face with your little hand ya, let papa and mama see your face”. Yup, she is a good girl. She listened to papa and mama. But, this little “Chilli padi” just got her alternative, she fully turned her face downwards and the gynae can’t even scan her from the top of her face. “Baby, you still a shy shy girl ya :)”

Haha….. she is having hiccup now again. She is having hiccup everyday. As what old people always say, “hiccup good, baby grows faster !!” Haha…. I believe so too, I believe hiccup plays an important role for baby’s growth.

My gynae starts to explain the delivery process to us. How the contraction feel, what should we do in different scenario, what type of pain killer I can apply during my delivery, in what scenario she will recommend C-section, etc…. Luckily I always do the homework whenever I free by reading pregnancy books and magazines. So, all the terms that my gynae used are not new to me and it is easy for me to pick up

Whose’s tummy is bigger?

Hup’s parents and sister do visit us every year during Hari Raya festival. For this time, Hup’s brother + wife + 2 kids came together too They drove their MPV here for the whole big family.

My company was having 2 days shutdown (forced leave :() and Hup took 2 days leave so that we can accompany his family from Thurs till Sat. For Thurs, we visited their relatives and went to ChinaTown for temple and little shopping. For Friday, we went for Dim Sum breakfast, brought them to Ikea (as requested by his sister), and Sentosa Island for the Underwater World & Dolphin Lagoon.
